Thank you for inquiring about summer employment.  We hire full time workampers for part time help.

 

St. Croix Haven Campground is the finest park in Minnesota with large privacy oriented campsites situated in a unique culdesac design and very quality facilities as you can observe in our photo gallery.  The location of our 40 acres adjacent to the St. Croix State Forest and the beautiful St. Croix River affords boundless outdoor activities and lots of elbow room.  We even have our own operational firetruck which we utilize for firetruck rides.

 

We open May 1st and continue thru the third weekend in October.  Our busiest periods are weekends and holidays which provides us with the majority of campers. 

 

Our part time help usually work 4 days a week, 6 hours a day.  Couples will have the same days off, but may work different shifts on their scheduled days.  We ask a minimum commitment of three months, but can stay all season if you would like.

 

Male Duties include:  Site and grounds maintenance, security patrol, minor equipment repairs, cleaning firepits, splitting wood, mowing lawn, picking up garbage, and helping with tubing and canoeing.

 

Female duties include:  Working in the campstore, which includes stocking shelves and coolers, making reservations, registering campers, filing, and cashering.  Other duties include daily and weekly cleaning of the bathrooms and gardening.

 

We try to assign duties and schedules most preferable to each person, but also rotate schedules, so you have different duties.

 

In exchange for these services we provide the campsite, including utilities(except for LP gas) use of telephone, laundry, use of rental equipment, purchase of groceries and rv supplies from the store at a discounted price, guest privileges plus salary.
